Our Story

Beginning of the Proquip Brand

Proquip Rental  & Sales started in March 2008 in Melton, Victoria specialising in earthmoving equipment ranging from 1 to 35 tonne. With possibly the most up to date fleet in the industry.

PQRS (Proquip Rental & Sales) is an Australian and family-owned company. Our aim has always been to provide industry leading earthmoving equipment for rental and sale, and deliver a customer service experience that is unparalleled in the marketplace. 

Our management and staff strive continuously for higher standards in all operations. We now have locations in Melbourne & Geelong to better serve our valued customers needs.

Our Key Milestones

2008

Proquip Rental is born in Melton VIC

2011

The equipment sales division was established to enable our clients to purchase used rental equipment and attachments

2014

Impact Construction Equipment range launched

2018

Proquip acquires Hireways, a WA-based earthmoving equipment business

2020

Proquip Melton branch moves into a new purpose-built facility in Ravenhall VIC & this becomes head office

2021

Proquip opens its first regional branch in Geelong VIC

2022

Hireways WA branch officially rebrands & becomes Proquip

Proquip opens its second regional branch in Ballarat VIC

2024

Proquip acquires Hume Hire in NSW which has branches in Albury and Wagga Wagga
